Fr. Thanh Tai Nguyen, also known as Fr. An Binh, was ordained in 2012. He is currently the Parochial Vicar at Christ Our Savior Catholic Church in Santa Ana, CA. He is also on the Board of Directors of the An Binh Charity Foundation.

Fr. An Binh has a special love for music with many of his own performing Praise & Worship songs. He loves to "travel and sightseeing to discover the trace of divine in creation of the world." Fr. An Binh brings with him a very deep devotion to our Lord and our church through living out his witness in the world through music and his very own TV channel, talking about events and through it, help to uplift people in their faith lives and faith formation. Fr. An Binh will be our shepherd through this pilgrimage and through his youthfulness and witnessing his living faith, Father will help guide us to recognize the presence of the Lord in every moment of our lives.

Daily Itinerary

  • Depart Los Angeles with a flight to Rome, Italy.

  • Upon arrival at Rome Airport, we will be greeted by our English speaking Tour Manager and bus driver. Then we will drive to our hotel. Check in at the hotel, dinner and overnight.

  • After breakfast, we will transfer to Trastevere, today the Mass will be celebrated in the church of Santa Maria Della Scala, where Cardinal Van Thuan is buried. Then, we continue on a panoramic tour of Imperial Rome including the Coliseum. Continue passing by the Roman Forums to reach the Capitol Hill and Venice square, then to the Trevi Fountain. Break for lunch In the afternoon with time at leisure at the Spanish Steps. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

  • Today, we will start with joining the Papal audience blessing with Pope Francis. After, we will walk to Castel Sant'Angelo, cross the river over the Bridge of the Angels to reach Navona Square. Break for lunch. Regain our bus and enjoy a guided tour of the major basilicas of Rome. We will begin our tour with Basilica of St. Mary Major. The crypt is built to resemble the cave of the Nativity in Bethlehem and here there is a reliquary containing part of the Holy Crib in which our Lord Jesus Christ once lay. After we visit Holy Stairs so named because they are the steps which led to the praetorium of the Roman Procurator Ponzio Pilato. From there we visit Basilica of St John in Lateran which houses a fragment of the table on which Jesus consumed his last supper. Dinner at overnight at the hotel.

  • In the morning, we drive to Saint Peter's Basilica to celebrate Mass. We then enjoy a guided tour including the Basilica and the Vatican Museums, which house what can be described as the most important collections of art in the world. We will visit also the Sistine Chapel. Break for lunch then drive to the Ancient Appian Way where wee will stop at the Catacombs. Return to he hotel for dinner and overnight.

  • After breakfast, we check out and depart the hotel driving along the . Continue to Nettuno (1 hr drive) to visit the Shrine of Santa Maria Goretti. We will see the house where she used to live and then the church where her incorrupt body is preserved. Celebrate Mass and continue towards south for approx 3 hrs, we will spend the night right before Naples. Check - in, dinner and overnight.

  • Depart the hotel after breakfast and check out. This morning we visit the Shrine of Santa Filomena located in a mountain area called Mugnano Del Cardinale. Then we drive to San Gioganni Rotondo where we arrive in the afternoon. Check in at the hotel. Then we meet the guide to visit the Old Church and convent, celebrate Mass and return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

  • In the morning we will visit the crypt where the body of Padre Pio is preserved. After lunch, we will travel through the beautiful Gargano Peninsula for a short distance to reach the village of Monte Sant’Angelo and visit San Michael’s cave. Celebrate Mass and then we continue to Lanciano for dinner and overnight.

  • Today we visit the Eucharistic Miracle Church and celebrate Mass. In the afternoon, we will continue to Loreto where we will visit the Marian Shrine and see stones of the family home of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph which is located inside the Basilica of Loreto, where it has been since 1294. Our final destination for today is Assisi, where upon arrival we stop in the Valley of Assisi to visit the Basilica of St Maria Degli Angeli – Check in at the hotel, dinner and overnight.

  • After breakfast, we will enjoy a walking tour of the birthplace of St Francis visiting the Basilicas of St. Clare to see her tomb and the cross that spoke to St. Francis, the Cross of San Damiano. Next we will visit, the Sanctuary of the Renunciation, a part of the Church of St. Mary Major to pray over the tomb of Blessed Carlo Acutis. Continue to the Basilica of St. Francis, where we can pray on the tomb of the Saint and celebrate Mass. After, we depart Assisi to reach Padova, where we will spend the next two nights – Check-in at the hotel, dinner and overnight.

  • After breakfast, we will depart our hotel by bus to reach the dock. From here, by private motorboat, we will reach Venice in 30 minutes by sea. Then we will enjoy a guided tour in this fascinating town to see the Doge’s Palace (outside) and the Basilica of St. Mark the Evangelist (inside). After lunch, free time for an optional Gondola ride, or for shopping. In the afternoon, we will board private boat back to our bus and return to Padova, where we will celebrate Mass at the Basilica of St Anthony, Back to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

  • After agreed time, a transfer will take us to the Venice airport to catch our flights back home.
