Daily Itinerary

  • The pilgrimage starts with a flight to Tel-Aviv, Israel. We embark on a spiritual journey to experience the well known Catholic pilgrimage sites of Israel.

  • You will be welcomed by your tour guide and driver and transferred to the hotel in Nazareth for check-in, dinner and overnight stay.

  • After breakfast, we will depart for Mount Tabor (taxi included), the site of the Transfiguration, where we will take time to reflect on Christ’s human and divine natures. We then continue to Nazareth, the hometown of Mary and the place where Jesus lived as a child. Here, we will visit the Church of the Annunciation, built over the home of the Virgin Mary, where the Angel Gabriel appeared to her and announced that she would bear a son and name him Immanuel. Mass will be celebrated in the church (subject to confirmation). We will also visit the Upper Basilica and St. Joseph’s Workshop, honoring the home life of the Holy Family.

  • After breakfast at the hotel, we will enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee (included). We then continue to the Mount of Beatitudes, the site of Jesus’ great Sermon on the Mount, where we’ll take in the peaceful views and reflect on His teachings. Mass will be celebrated (subject to confirmation). Next, we visit Tabgha, the place where Jesus miraculously fed the crowd of 5,000, and then proceed to Peter’s Primacy, where the risen Jesus appeared to His disciples and entrusted Peter to “feed my lambs; feed my sheep” (John 21:9). For lunch, you may wish to try the traditional St. Peter’s fish (not included). In the afternoon, we’ll drive to Capernaum (entrance included), the biblical village and hometown of Jesus, closely linked to His public ministry as described in the Gospels. Here, we will see the house of Peter’s mother-in-law and the ancient synagogue where Jesus taught. We then return to the hotel for rest and dinner.

  • After an open buffet breakfast, we will drive to Cana of Galilee, where Jesus performed His first miracle—changing water into wine at the request of His mother (John 2:1–11). In Cana, we will celebrate Mass (subject to confirmation), and those who wish may renew their wedding vows. We then continue north to Haifa to visit Stella Maris, a Carmelite monastery dedicated to Our Lady of Mount Carmel, built above the cave where the prophet Elijah once lived. From here, we will enjoy a panoramic view of the Bay of Acco. On our way to Bethlehem, we will stop for an orientation tour of Jaffa, before checking in to our hotel upon arrival.

  • We will begin our tour in Bethlehem with a visit to Manger Square, located in front of one of the oldest Christian churches, the Church of the Nativity. We will enter the church and descend to the Grotto of the Nativity, which marks the exact spot where Jesus was born. Beneath the altar lies a silver star bearing the Latin inscription Hic de Virgine Maria Jesus Christus Natus Est (“Here Jesus Christ was born to the Virgin Mary”). Mass will be celebrated here (subject to confirmation). We will then visit the Shepherds’ Field, where angels appeared to the shepherds to announce the birth of Christ. The cave still bears soot marks from the fires once lit by the shepherds as they kept watch over their flocks, and the field is also traditionally associated with the Book of Ruth.

  • After breakfast at the hotel, we will head to Bethany, the village where Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, visiting the Tomb of Lazarus and the traditional site of the house of Mary, Martha, and Lazarus, reflecting on the miracle and the deep friendship between Jesus and this family. We will then drive to the Baptismal Site in Bet Arabah on the Jordan River, where Jesus was baptized, with the opportunity to renew our baptismal vows and celebrate Mass (subject to confirmation). Next, we continue to the ancient city of Jericho, the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world, with the Mount of Temptation in view. In Jericho, we will tour the city and visit the Sycamore Tree Site, recalling the encounter between Jesus and Zacchaeus. Afterwards, there will be free time to enjoy a dip in the relaxing and healing waters of the Dead Sea, with beach access included.

  • In the early morning, we will drive to the Mount of Olives to take in the panoramic view of the holy city of Jerusalem. Here, Jesus taught His disciples the Lord’s Prayer (Luke 11:1-4), and we will visit the Pater Noster Church and the Ascension Chapel, traditionally believed to mark the spot from which Jesus ascended to heaven. We will then walk along the Palm Sunday Path and stop at the charming Dominus Flevit Church, where Jesus wept over Jerusalem (Luke 19:41), continuing along the Jewish cemetery that overlooks the Eastern (Golden) Gate, known as the Thrones of Judgment (Psalm 122). At the Garden of Gethsemane, amid 2,000-year-old olive trees, we will recall the Passion of Christ, visit the Church of All Nations, see the Rock of Agony where Jesus prayed, and explore the nearby Gethsemane cave where He often spent the nights and was arrested, with the opportunity to celebrate Mass (subject to confirmation). Afterwards, we will travel to Mount Zion to visit the House of Caiaphas and the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu, viewing parts of the streets where Jesus was hauled by His captors, followed by a visit to Dormition Abbey, where Our Lady fell into eternal sleep, and the Cenacle, commemorating the Upper Room of the Last Supper. Finally, we will visit the Western Wall, the holiest site in Judaism, part of the Western retaining wall of the Temple Mount.

  • Very early in the morning, we will walk along the Via Dolorosa (The Way of the Cross) in the Old City of Jerusalem, beginning at Antonia Fortress, where Jesus was condemned to death by Pontius Pilate. Carrying His cross through the streets of the city to be crucified, we will pass the Stations of the Cross and walk through the bustling markets to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, also known as the Church of the Resurrection, where we will see Calvary and the empty Tomb of Christ, with the opportunity to celebrate Mass (subject to confirmation). Breakfast will be served in the Old City (included). We will then visit the Pools of Bethesda (entrance included), where Jesus healed the paralysed man (John 5), and praise the Lord with hymns in the nearby perfectly preserved Crusader Church of Saint Anne. Afterwards, a short drive will take us to the village of Ein Karem, the birthplace of John the Baptist, where we will visit the Church of Saint John the Baptist and the Church of the Visitation.
