Daily Itinerary

  • The pilgrimage starts with a flight from JFK Airport to Warsaw, Poland. We embark on a spiritual journey to experience the well known pilgrimage sites of Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Croatia & Bosnia + Herzegovina.

  • You will be welcomed by your tour escort and driver and transferred to the hotel in Warsaw for check-in, dinner and overnight stay. (Dinner included)

  • In the morning, we board the coach and drive to Czestochowa. Visit Jasna Gora Monastery in Czestochowa (entrance fee included) – Poland’s most important Pilgrimage destination. Our guided tour will take us through the Monastery, Basilica, Chapel of the Black Madonna, Contemporary Via Dolorosa, Knight’s Hall and Treasury. Celebrate Mass at one of the chapels of Jasna Gora Monastery. Drive to Krakow with a tour of downtown. See the Wawel Hill, visit Wawel Cathedral (entrance fee included). Continue to Market Square, the biggest in Europe, via Kanonicza Street, pass by Papal Window of Bishop's Palace from which Saint John Paul II used to address his followers, see the patio of Collegium Maius where the Pope was a student. Visit St. Mary’s Church (entrance fee included) famous for its Wit Stwosz’s wooden altar. After, we check-in to the hotel with dinner and an overnight stay.

  • In the morning, we drive to Auschwitz and visit the Nazi concentration Camp of Auschwitz (entrance fee included), where St. Teresa Benedicta (Edith Stein) faced martyrdom and St. Maximilian Kolbe died in the Death Block from starvation after volunteering his life for that of a fellow prisoner. Have some free time for independent lunch. After, we proceed to Lagiewniki, the capical of the Divine Mercy. We will celebrate Mass in the Basilica of the Divine Mercy, which was consecrated by St. John Paul II during his last trip to Poland. Enjoy a tour led by one of the sisters. It is in this place that the message of the Divine Mercy originated, which Christ Himself wished to pass on to our generation through the meditation of St. Faustina. The Sanctuary houses grace working image of the Merciful Jesus and the relics of St. Faustina. As we visit the Shrine of Divine Mercy we will see St. Faustina's convent chapel and her Tomb. Back to Krakow for overnight stay. (Breakfast & dinner included)

  • We depart for Wadowice and visit the modest family apartment where Karol Wojtyła, the future Pope John Paul II, was born. The home has been converted into a museum, showcasing personal items, photographs, and details about his early life. Celebrate Mass at the church of the Presentation of the Virgin Mary where he was baptized. We continue to Prague where we will check in, have dinner, and stay overnight. (Breakfast & dinner included)

  • Full day of sightseeing in Prague focusing on Hradcany Castle (entrance fee included), St. Vitus Cathedral, the Royal Castle, St. George’s Basilica and the Church of Our Lady Victorious, where we see the Statue of the Infant Jesus of Prague. Celebrate Mass in Church of Our Lady Victoria (subject to confirmation). Lunch on your own. Later, cross Charles Bridge visiting the old town, the Market Square “Astronomical clock” and Wenceslas Square. Dinner at a local restaurant before heading back to our hotel for overnight stay. (Breakfast & dinner included)

  • In the morning, make our way to Alottting, one of Germany's most celebrated shrines. For more than 1250 years Altötting has been the spiritual center of Bavaria and for more than 500 years the most significant place of pilgrimage in Germany in veneration of the Virgin Mary. After we drive towards Salzburg and upon arrival we check in. Time permitting, we will have a walking tour of Salzburg before dinner and an overnight stay. (Breakfast & dinner included)

  • Today we depart for Mariazell which is the most important pilgrimage place in Austria. We will stop and see the miraculous statue which is housed in the Lady Chapel or Chapel of Miracles, built directly over the place where Magnus established his monastic cell in 1157. After, we continue to Vienna and upon arrival we will check in and overnight stay. (Breakfast & dinner included)

  • Start the day with a panoramic tour of the famous ring then a walk of the Old Town between the University and Opera House passing major monuments to include Donner Fountain, Belvedere Palace Gardens, Hofburg Palace, Albertina, Spanish Riding School and St. Steven Cathedral (exterior views). After, we continue to Pannonhalma Abbey. Since its foundation in 996, Pannonhalma Abbey has majestically stood on a hilltop overlooking the plain. Visit the abbey (entrance fee included). After, we continue to Budapest where we will check in, have dinner and overnight stay.(Breakfast & dinner included)

  • In the morning, we enjoy a half day panoramic tour of Budapest. Visits include the Fisherman’s Bastion and Matyas Church. After, we depart towards Zagreb and upon arrival we check in have dinner and overnight stay.

  • Today we depart for Medjugorje, Upon arrival we check in our hotel and have dinner. After, you can have the chance join local villagers and pilgrims to participate at St. James evening prayer program including the Rosary, Mass and participate in a special Blessing of the Sick. Enjoy Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and opportunities for Confession in one of the 60+ confessionals provided for pilgrims. (Breakfast & dinner included)

  • Climb the Apparition Hill (weather dependent). Follow the same path where the 6 young visionaries first encountered Our Lady. Pray at the statue commemorating the spot where Our Lady first appeared. At the base of the Apparition Hill is a Blue Cross, the site of present-day apparitions. It is also the location where the visionaries would meet in the early days of the apparitions to avoid the Communist police. After, a walking Orientation Tour during which you will learn the history of the apparitions and all that has happened over the last 37 years. From 5 pm – Join local villagers and pilgrims to participate at St. James evening prayer program including the Rosary, Mass and participate in a special Blessing of the Sick. Enjoy Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and opportunities for Confession in one of the 60+ confessionals provided for pilgrims. (Breakfast & dinner included)

  • In the morning, celebrate Mass before a group transfer to Split International Airport for our flights back home.
