  • The pilgrimage starts with a flight from Los Angeles to Guadalajara, Mexico. For the next couple of days, we will embark on a spiritual journey to experience the well known pilgrimage sites and culture of Mexico. After landing, we will be greeted by our tour guide and driver who will take the group for a walking tour of the Guadalajara Cathedral and the Main Plaza. Check into hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

  • Today, we will journey to the charming city of Zapopan, one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Mexico. Here, we will visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Zapopan, a revered sanctuary that houses the miraculous image of the Virgin, and we will celebrate Mass within its sacred walls. Later, we’ll continue to Tlaquepaque, a vibrant town celebrated for its Mexican handicrafts, colorful ceramics, and lively folk art created by talented local artisans. We’ll enjoy some free time to explore its charming streets, boutiques, and art galleries before gathering for dinner at a local restaurant. The day concludes with a return to our hotel in Guadalajara for a restful overnight stay.

  • After breakfast, we will travel to Santa Ana de Guadalupe to visit the Shrine of San Toribio Romo, a beloved martyr of the Cristero War and patron saint of migrants. Here, we will spend time in prayer and reflection. We’ll then continue to the Basilica of Our Lady of San Juan de los Lagos, one of Mexico’s most important pilgrimage sites, to honor the miraculous image of the Virgin and explore the sacred grounds. Afterward, we return to Guadalajara for dinner and an overnight stay at our hotel.

  • We depart Guadalajara and journey toward the beautiful colonial city of Guanajuato, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its colorful hillside houses and rich religious heritage. Upon arrival, we will visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Guanajuato, home to one of Mexico’s oldest images of the Virgin Mary, brought from Spain in the 8th century. Afterwards, enjoy a leisurely stroll through the charming plazas and cobblestone streets, followed by the lively experience of a traditional Callejoneada—a musical walking tour led by local troubadours through Guanajuato’s picturesque alleys. We then gather for dinner at a local restaurant and settle into our hotel in Guanajuato for the night.

  • Today we travel to the majestic Cristo Rey del Cubilete, one of the most important religious monuments in Mexico, located atop a mountain overlooking the region. This towering statue of Christ the King stands as a powerful symbol of faith and devotion, church built during the silver mining boom. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the charming plazas and cobblestone streets befoffering breathtaking panoramic views and a peaceful setting for prayer and reflection. After our visit, we will return to Guanajuato to see the Pípila Monument, dedicated to a local hero of Mexico’s independence, and enjoy its sweeping view of the city below. We’ll then spend time exploring Guanajuato’s historic city center, with its lively plazas, colorful buildings, and charming streets lined with shops, cafés, and colonial landmarks, before returning to our hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

  • After breakfast, we will depart Guanajuato and travel to Atotonilco, home to the Sanctuary of Atotonilco, often called the “Sistine Chapel of Mexico” for its breathtaking murals depicting scenes from the life and passion of Christ. This UNESCO World Heritage Site has long been a place of deep devotion and pilgrimage. After our visit and time for prayer, we will continue to the charming town of San Miguel de Allende for a city tour, exploring its cobblestone streets, colonial architecture, and the iconic Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel that dominates the town’s skyline. We’ll enjoy some free time to wander through the artisan shops and vibrant plazas before checking into our hotel in San Miguel de Allende for dinner and overnight stay.

  • This morning, we will depart San Miguel de Allende and make our way toward Mexico City. Along the way, we will stop at Teotihuacan, one of the best-preserved ancient cities in Mexico, known for its monumental Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon and its sacred Temple of Quetzalcoatl. We will take time to explore the archaeological site and learn about its rich history and spiritual significance. Afterward, we will continue our journey to Mexico City, where we will check into our hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

  • After breakfast, we will begin our day with a visit to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, one of the most revered Marian shrines in the world. Here, millions of pilgrims come each year to honor the Virgin, and we will have time for Mass and personal prayer. We then continue to Xochimilco, famous for its colorful flower-decked trajineras (boats) that glide through ancient Aztec canals. Enjoy the lively atmosphere filled with music, local vendors, and floating gardens—a joyful celebration of Mexico’s rich traditions. In the afternoon, we will head to the heart of Mexico City’s historic center, the Zócalo, to visit the magnificent Metropolitan Cathedral—the oldest and largest cathedral in Latin America—and see the National Palace and Government Square nearby. After the visit, we gather for dinner and return to our hotel for an overnight stay.

  • We begin the day with a visit to Cuernavaca, known as the “City of Eternal Spring,” where we’ll enjoy its pleasant climate and beautiful colonial charm. We then continue to Taxco, the famed Silver Capital of Mexico, with its winding cobblestone streets, traditional plazas, and colonial architecture. Here, we will visit the magnificent Santa Prisca Church, renowned for its stunning baroque altars, and celebrate Mass. After some free time to explore or shop for silver, we return to Mexico City for dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.

  • On the final morning of our pilgrimage, we will celebrate Mass at the Holy Family Church of Blessed Miguel Pro, honoring the courageous priest and martyr who gave his life for the faith during the Cristero War. After Mass, we will have some time for reflection and final group moments before being transferred to the airport at the agreed time to catch our flights back home to Los Angeles, CA, carrying with us the blessings and memories of our spiritual journey.
