Daily Itinerary

  • Board flight from Los Angeles Airport bound to Krakow, Poland

  • You will be welcomed by your tour escort and driver and transferred to the hotel in Krakow for check-in, dinner and overnight stay. (Dinner included)

  • This morning we will enjoy a guided walking tour of Krakow. Start with a visit to Wawel Cathedral (entrance fee included), one of the most beautiful Renaissance residences in Central Europe. Continue to Market Square, the biggest in Europe, via Kanonicza Street, pass by Papal Window of Bishop's Palace from which Saint John Paul II used to address his followers, see the patio of Collegium Maius (exterior view) where the Pope was a student. Visit St. Mary’s Church (entrance fee included) famous for its Wit Stwosz’s wooden altar. After, we drive to the Wieliczka to see Europe’s oldest salt mines (entrance fee included). The mines are a unique place where many generations of Polish miners have created a world of underworld chambers and decorated chapels carved out of salt including the famous Chapel of St. Kinga. Back to hotel for dinner and overnight.

  • After breakfast we visit Auschwitz-Birkenau (entrance fee included/ guided tour), the former concentration camp and the largest in the Third Reich, which was set up in 1940 for prisoners from Poland. The fortified walls, barbed wire, platforms, barracks, gallows, gas chambers and cremation ovens show the conditions in which Genocide was performed by the Nazi regime. After we proceed to Wadowice to visit the birthplace of Pope St. John Paul II and his childhood home which is now a museum (entrance fee included). Celebrate Mass at the local church (subject to confirmation). Back to our hotel in Krakow for dinner and overnight.

  • Depart for Czestochowa, known mostly because of the 15th century Jasna Gora Monastery and the Icon of the Black Madonna, credited with many miracles, such as the Miracle on Vistula River, when Polish army won with Soviet army. Visit Jasna Gora, one of the most visited pilgrimage sites of the world with over 5 million tourists a year, Celebrate Mass at one of the Sanctuary’s Chapels. Return to Krakow for dinner and overnight.

  • Celebrate Mass in the Basilica of the Divine Mercy, which was consecrated by St. John Paul II during his last trip to Poland (subject to confirmation). Enjoy a tour led by one of the sisters. It was here that the message of the Divine Mercy originated, which Christ Himself wished to pass on to our generation through the mediation of St. Faustina. The Sanctuary houses grace working image of the Merciful Jesus and the relics of St. Faustina. As we visit the Shrine of Divine Mercy we will see St. Faustina's convent chapel and her Tomb. We Depart for Prague and upon arrival we check in, have dinner and stay overnight.

  • Enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Prague focusing on Hradcany Castle (entrance fee included), St. Vitus Cathedral, the Royal Castle, St. George’s Basilica and the Church of Our Lady Victorious where you see the Statue of the Infant Jesus of Prague. Celebrate Mass at the Church of Our Lady Victorious. After lunch we will cross the Charles Bridge to visit the Old Town, which is considered to be one of the best historical city centers in Europe. Visit the Old Town Square, the Town Hall with its famous Astronomical Clock which comes (exterior views only). Visit the Church of Our Lady before Tyn, one of the most beautiful Gothic buildings in Prague and St Nicholas Church, a baroque church, where Mozart played. Rest of the day at leisure before we return to the hotel for dinner and stay overnight.

  • We check out and head towards Vienna, Austrria where we will enjoy a guided tour upon arrival. While you stroll along the charming squares and medieval streets, learn the rich history and culture behind Austria’s capital city. Other sites we will see include Otto Wagner’s Stadtbahn pavilions, The Vienna Opera House, Heroes’ Square, St. Augustine’s Church, St. Stephen’s Cathedral and Mozart’s House (exterior views only). Pass by the Belvedere Palace well known for its beautiful gardens. Depart to Bratislava where we will check in, have dinner and stay overnight.

  • Today we embark on a journey to visit Marija Bistrica which is a town in central Croatia, located on the slopes of the Medvednica mountain. Marija Bistrica has an old Marian shrine of the Black Madonna which is a place of pilgrimage and visited by hundreds of thousands of pilgrims every year. Continue to Zagreb where we check in, have dinner and stay overnight.

  • Today we drive to Split, Croatia and upon arrival we will have a guided tour including the Diocletian's Palace (entrance fee included) built by the Roman Emperor Diocletian. The palace is one of the most famous and complete architectural and cultural features on the Croatian Adriatic coast and the world's most complete remains of a Roman palace and truly is a world heritage. We will see also the Cathedral of St. Domnius and the Peristil square (exterior views). Depart for Medjugorje where we will check in, have dinner and stay overnight.

  • We will spend the whole day in Medjugorje and begin with a morning Mass in English at St. James Church (Public Mass). Then we will have a walking orientation tour during which you will learn the history of the apparitions and all that has happened over the last 37 years. We will have a chance to climb the Apparition Hill. and follow the same path where the 6 young visionaries first encountered Our Lady. Pray at the statue commemorating the spot where Our Lady first appeared. Rest of the time for leisure - prayer / meditation/ join evening prayer program. Dinner and overnight.

  • We depart Medjugorje and drive to Sarajevo where we will enjoy a guided tour including the famous 17th century Gazi Husrev Beg Mosque (entrance fee included) with its magnificent ornamentation of stalactites under the dome. We also visit the picturesque 15th century Bas Carsija bazaar in the historic city center, the Austro- Hungarian quarter and the stadium (exterior views)Celebrate Mass at a local church before checking into our last hotel with dinner and overnight stay.

  • At Agreed time, we will have a transfer to Sarajevo airport for our departure flight back home.
