Daily Itinerary

  • Board flight from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Krakow, Poland International Airport.

  • Arrive at Krakow Airport, where you will meet your tour escort and board the coach. Upon arrival at the hotel, proceed with check-in before enjoying dinner. Spend the night at the hotel in Krakow, resting for the journey ahead.

  • After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a guided tour of Krakow beginning with Wawel Hill and a visit to Wawel Cathedral (entrance included), one of Central Europe's most stunning Renaissance residences. Walk through Kanonicza Street to the Market Square—the largest in Europe—passing the Papal Window of the Bishop’s Palace, where Saint John Paul II addressed his followers. See the patio of Collegium Maius, where he once studied, and visit St. Mary’s Church (entrance included), known for its magnificent wooden altar by Wit Stwosz. After lunch on your own, continue to Lagiewniki to visit the Divine Mercy Shrine, where you can pray at the tomb of St. Faustina and the relic of St. John Paul II. Celebrate Mass at the Shrine (subject to confirmation), then return to Krakow for dinner at a local restaurant with a folklore show (subject to confirmation). Overnight at the hotel in Krakow.

  • In the morning, we drive to Auschwitz for a visit to the concentration camp (entrance fee included), where St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross (Edith Stein) was martyred and St. Maximilian Kolbe gave his life in place of another prisoner. After lunch on your own, continue to Wadowice, the birthplace of Karol Wojtyła, the future Saint Pope John Paul II. Visit his childhood home, now a museum (entrance fee included), and celebrate Mass at the Church of the Presentation of the Virgin Mary, where he was baptized (subject to confirmation). Return to Krakow for dinner and overnight at the hotel.

  • Drive to Czestochowa to visit Jasna Gora Monastery (entrance fee included), a historic sanctuary that withstood repeated attacks during the 17th-century religious wars. Home to the revered icon of the Black Madonna, venerated as the “Queen of Poland,” it has become a powerful national symbol. Celebrate Mass in one of the chapels (subject to confirmation), then enjoy lunch on your own. Return to Krakow for dinner and overnight at the hotel.

  • After breakfast at the hotel and check-out, drive to Wieliczka for a guided tour of the world-famous Wieliczka Salt Mine (entrance fee included). This remarkable site features stunning underground chapels, biblical carvings, and a statue of Pope St. John Paul II—all sculpted from salt by generations of Polish miners. If time permits, celebrate Mass at a local church (subject to confirmation). After lunch on your own, depart for Prague. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel, enjoy dinner, and overnight in Prague.

  • Enjoy a day of sightseeing in Prague, beginning with a visit to Hradcany Castle, with entrance fee included, followed by tours of St. Vitus Cathedral, the Royal Castle, St. George’s Basilica, and the Church of Our Lady Victorious, where you can see the Statue of the Infant Jesus of Prague. If confirmed, you will have the opportunity to celebrate Holy Mass at the Church of Our Lady of Victory. Afterward, cross the Charles Bridge and explore the Old Town, renowned for being one of the best-preserved historical city centers in Europe. You’ll also visit the Old Town Square and the Town Hall, with its famous Astronomical Clock (exterior views only). Enjoy lunch on your own, followed by an afternoon of leisure. In the evening, dine at the hotel and spend the night in Prague.

  • After breakfast at the hotel and check-out, drive to Melk Abbey. Enjoy lunch on your own before visiting the stunning Melk Abbey (entrance fee included), a place of beauty and spiritual reflection. Celebrate Mass in one of the abbey’s chapels (subject to confirmation), then continue to Vienna. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel, enjoy dinner, and overnight in Vienna.

  • Begin the day by celebrating Mass at a local church. Then, enjoy a guided tour of Vienna, exploring its charming squares and medieval streets while learning about the city's rich history and culture. Visit iconic landmarks such as the Vienna Opera House, Heroes’ Square, St. Augustine’s Church, Mozart’s House (exterior), and St. Stephen’s Cathedral (entrance fee included). You’ll also pass by the beautiful gardens of Belvedere Palace. After lunch on your own, enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Return for dinner at the hotel and overnight in Vienna.

  • After breakfast at the hotel and check-out, drive to Marija Bistrica. Enjoy lunch on your own before visiting the historic Marian Shrine of the Black Madonna, featuring a votive statue of the Mother of God dating back to the late 15th century. Celebrate Mass at Marija Bistrica (subject to confirmation), then continue to Zagreb. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel, enjoy dinner, and overnight in Zagreb.

  • After breakfast at the hotel and check-out, drive to Zagreb. Enjoy lunch on your own, then take a short guided tour of Split, passing by Jupiter’s Temple, Diocletian’s Palace, and the Cathedral of St. Domnius (exterior views provided by the tour escort). Celebrate Mass at a local church (subject to confirmation) before continuing to Medjugorje. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel, enjoy dinner, and overnight in Medjugorje.

  • At 10:00 am, celebrate public Mass in English at St. James Church. Afterwards, climb Apparition Hill (weather permitting), following the path where the six young visionaries first saw Our Lady. Pray at the statue marking the spot of the first apparition and visit the Blue Cross at the hill’s base, where present-day apparitions occur and where the visionaries once gathered to avoid Communist police. Participate in a walking orientation tour to learn the history of the apparitions and events over the past 37 years. Enjoy lunch on your own, then from 5 pm, join local villagers and pilgrims for the evening prayer program at St. James Church, including the Rosary and Mass. Take the opportunity for Confession in one of the 60+ confessionals available. End the day with dinner and overnight at the hotel in Medjugorje.

  • After breakfast at the hotel and check-out, depart for Sarajevo. Enjoy lunch on your own, followed by a guided tour that includes the famous 17th-century Gazi Husrev Beg Mosque (entrance fee included), renowned for its stunning stalactite decorations under the dome. Visit the picturesque 15th-century Bas Carsija bazaar in the historic city center, explore the Austro-Hungarian quarter, and view the stadium from the outside. Celebrate Mass at a local church (subject to confirmation), then check in at the hotel. Enjoy dinner and overnight in Sarajevo.
