DAILY ITINERARY


DAY 1 - DEPART

FEBRUARY 17, 2020

Our Pilgrimage begins as we depart Los Angeles airport to Tel Aviv, Israel via Lufthansa Airlines.

DAY 2 -  TEL AVIV

FEBRUARY 18, 2020

Arrive Tel Aviv where our guide and bus driver will meet us and check-in our hotel in Bethlehem. 

DAY 3 - BETHLEHEM - SHEPHERDS FIELD - EIN KAREM

FEBRUARY 19, 2020

After breakfast we leave for Bethlehem at the Church of the Nativity, where our Savior was born. We will also visit Shepherd’s Field and Milk Grotto. After lunch on your own, we will shop for souvenirs at a Christian owned store. In the afternoon, we will visit Ein Karem, the hometown and birthplace of St. John the Baptist and the place where the Blessed Virgin Mary visited her cousin Elizabeth. Return to Hotel for Dinner & Overnight. 

DAY 4 - mt. of olives - gethsemane - st. peter in gallicantu

FEBRUARY 20, 2020

After breakfast, we start our day by heading to the Mt. of Olives to explore the spectacular views. We continue to the Church of the Pater Noster , Church of the Ascension and down to Dominus Flevit and St. Magdalene Church. Pray at the Garden of Gethsemane and visit the Church of All Nations. In the afternoon, we visit the Dormition Abbey of the Blessed Virgin Mary then to St. Peter in Gallicantu where Jesus was denied by St. Peter three times. Drive around Knesset, Shrine of the Book, Parliament and Mt. Scopus. Return to our Hotel for Dinner & Overnight.

DAY 5 - via dolorosa - wailing wall - mount zion

FEBRUARY 21, 2020

Early in the morning, we walk the way of the Cross with early mass at the Holy Sepulcher Church. We will visit Golgotha and the Holy Sepulcher where Jesus was laid after he was removed from the Cross and his tomb. Return to our hotel for breakfast. We then go visit the Wailing Wall, Church of St. Anne, the birthplace of the Blessed Mother and the Pool of Bethesda. In the afternoon; we will visit Mt. Zion including the upper room where Last Supper, the Institution of the Holy Eucharist and Pentecost took place. We also pass by King David’s Tomb. Return to our Hotel for Dinner & Overnight.

DAY 6 - CAESARIA - HAIFA - mt. tabor - nazareth

FEBRUARY 22, 2020

Today we leave Jerusalem and head towards Haifa, during our drive we pass by Caesarea to see the ruins of the ancient Roman City with its aqueduct. In Haifa, we visit the Carmelite Monastery and the Church of the Prophet Elijah. Today we visit Mount Tabor, the site of the Transfiguration where we celebrate mass. Check in at our hotel in Nazareth for dinner and overnight.

DAY 7 - cana - SEA OF GALILEE

FEBRUARY 23, 2020

After breakfast, we will have a mass and renewal of wedding vows at the Church of 1st Miracle in Cana. Then we will we will go to the Sea of Galilee where we will visit the sites where the message of our faith was given. Visiting the heart of the ministry sites also known as the Gospel Triangle. After mass, our first stop will be in Capernaum where we visit the Remains of an old house. Then we continue to visit Mt. Beatitudes, The primacy of St. Peter, Tabgha, the Multiplication of loaves and fish. We end our day with a boat ride around the Sea of Galilee. Back to our hotel for dinner and overnight

DAY 8 - Nazareth - Baptismal site - jericho - dead sea

FEBRUARY 24, 2020

After breakfast, We drive to Nazareth where we visit the Basilica of the Annunciation we will also visit Church of St. Joseph and Mary’s Well, where we will celebrate mass. Then we continue to visit the Baptismal Site in Jericho where group may renew baptismal vows. Continue to the ancient city of Jericho to view the Mt. Temptation and Zacchaeus Tree. We will cross the border at Allenby where we will meet our guide and bus driver. Check-in into hotel adjacent to the Dead Sea. Access to the Dead Sea is available for swimming.

DAY 9 - petra

FEBRUARY 25, 2020

After your Breakfast, we will celebrate mass and then we drive to Petra for an unforgettable visit to the “Rose Red City”. Here you see the Nabateans built temples, houses, tombs and aqueducts. Back to Dead Sea for dinner & overnight.

DAY 10 - mt. nebo - jerash - dead sea

FEBRUARY 26, 2020

Following Breakfast, we visit the ancient city of Jerash, which is now generally acknowledged to be one of the best preserved Roman provincial towns in the world. Then we drive to the summit of Mt. Nebo to view the “Promised Land “as shown by Moses to the Israelites.

DAY 11 - RETURN BACK TO USA

FEBRUARY 27, 2020

After a wonderful journey, we depart from Amman towards Queen Alia Airport for our flights back home using Lufthansa Airlines.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

REGISTRATION: A complete enrollment form; copy of passport; and a deposit of $350 are required upon registration. Full payment is due 90 days prior to departure. Booking 60 days or less prior to departure, a full payment is required.

TOUR PRICES/PAYMENTS: All prices quoted in flyers and brochures are quoted in US Dollars and are based on airfares, land tour rates and exchange rates at the time the flyers were printed on a group rate of 35 or more passengers. Tour prices on flyers reflect discount for payment made by cash or check. You may use credit cards for payment but a 4% surcharge of the total tour cost balance will apply.

INSURANCE: Insurance coverage is not included in the tour price. Although, travel insurance is optional TRAVELERS ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO PURCHASE THEIR TRAVELERS INSURANCE. Insurance takes effect after full payment for a trip, per person, has been made.

PASSPORT/VISA/DOCUMENTS: A valid US passport is required for US Citizens; validity must be at least 6 months after return date; US and Canadians national usually do not require visa in most countries; Non US passport holders should call the Consulate Once of the countries to be visited to obtain Visa. The agency is not responsible to secure visa to Non-US Nationals. No refunds will be made to a traveler delayed or denied entry to an aircraft or foreign countries.

CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS: A written cancellation letter and supporting documents, once partial or full payments were made is required. There is a $200 administrative fee per person for cancellation. Once full payment is made, the following will apply:

90-60 days prior to departure, a cancellation fee of 25% of tour cost will apply. 59-30 days prior to departure, a cancellation fee of 50% of tour cost will apply. 29-15 days prior to departure, a cancellation fee of 75% of tour cost will apply.14 days or less prior to departure, a cancellation fee of 100% of tour cost will apply.

Cancellation fees will not be waived due to illness. No refunds will be issued for any missed excursions, transfers, and accommodations. All airline tickets issued in conjunction with this tour are subject to separate airline penalties, per individual carriers rules and regulations.

TOUR CANCELLATION BY TOUR OPERATOR: Chaplet Tours has the right to cancel a tour, at any time, due to a lack of number of participants. In such case, the operators responsibility is to provide a full refund. Chaplet Tours is not responsible and does not assume responsibility for any additional costs or any fees relating to the issuance and/or cancellation of air tickets or other arrangements not made through Chaplet Tours.

RESPONSIBILITY DISCLOSURE: The Agency acts only as an agent for the suppliers of services such as hotels, airlines, boats, bus and train companies and other independent contrac- tors. You agree that upon enrollment in this tour, the agency shall not be held responsible of liable for any delays, losses, damages, accident, injury, death or damage to persons property in connection with any transportation, accommodations or other services and occurrences beyond their control. These include, but is not limited to, strikes, sickness, weather, natural disasters, acts of government and authorities, wars, criminal acts, riots, thefts, improper documentation of defaults of any company used for carrying out this tour. In the event that it my be deemed necessary, for the comfort and safety of passengers, or of any other reasons, the agency reserves the right to alter program itinerary or cancel tours at any time. Cancellations and alternations may be made without penalty to the travel agency. Travelers will be responsible for any additional expenses incurred. Airlines, ship lines, and train tickets issued constitute the sole contract between these companies and individual passengers. No refunds will be issued for any unused services once the tours commence starting from the rst to last day of tour. Tour Coordinators and other Travel Agents are not employees or authorized employees of the agency. Registration as a seller of travel does not constitute approval by the State of California. Any transaction made outside of California is not covered by the California Travel Consumer Restitution Fund.

AIR TRANSPORTATION/ TAXES/ SECURITY TAXES: Air transportation is in a coach economy class. Fares are based on levels on time of booking. Prices and flight schedules are subject to change without prior notice. Airport taxes are based on departure city and government increases which are subject to change until tickets are issued. The traveler’s ticket constitutes the sole contract between the airlines and the passengers. No refunds on issued tickets.

SEAT ASSIGNMENT: Random seats are assigned for all group participants. If you would like to secure a special seat or sit with a travel companion please advise us for such request at the time of booking, we will make an effort to accommodate you, however we cannot guarantee. If you prefer as special seat we recommend you to be at the airport at least 3 hours prior to departure and arrange the seat assignment with the airlines agent. The agency can never guarantee any special seats. Seats are the sole discretion of the airline and are pending availability.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION: Accommodations are based on twin beds or double and supplemental charges may apply for single occupancy. The agency is not responsible to find you a roommate.
